An old citizen of Stettin told me, that some churchbooks was looked in Sparkasse vault.
At the end of the wars water dripped into it and the paper was destroyed.

Does anyone have further information?

Haha, nice, I called her yesterday. She told, after Buzello, there was another one for the last weeks 1945. She couldn't remeber the name.

I asked her, because I am searching the german churchbooks 1900-1945. It seems to be, that the last pastor took the books.

I already did it. Few months ago I looked for cementary books from Neuendorf. I was informed by a local priest that all books and documents are stored in bureau of municipal services (Zaklad Uslug Komunalnych) in Police. ...

Some books of Ziegenort are in Greifswald, thats true. But no files of Pölitz.

Das Sterberegister in Stettin geht sogar bis 1910.
Das Register in Pölitz scheint nicht mehr dort zu sein. Ich war da und hatte gefragt. Dort konnte/wollte man mir nicht helfen. 16 Uhr war wohl keine gute Uhrzeit.

Und wo sind die Kirchenbücher geblieben? Sind die vielleicht noch in der Kirche?
