Otrzymałem taki oto fragment płyty pochodzącej z łóżka (początek XX wieku) z adresem Pani Dory Marquardt zamieszkałej w Policach przy ulicy Schützenstr.46 (obecnie Kołłątaja).
Poprzedniemu właścicielowi służyła jako wieszak na narzędzia.

Ponieważ płyta jest dość sporych rozmiarów i nie jestem w stanie trzymać jej w mieszkaniu (nad czym bardzo ubolewam), chciałbym ją ewentualnie wymienić na jakąś inną pamiątke ze starych Polic, oczywiście mniejszych rozmiarów :)
Płyta jest w stanie dobrym, bez robaków czy pleśni - ogólnie zadbana.Napis dobrze widoczny i trwały. Lepszej jakości zdjęcia oraz wymiary dostarcze jutro wieczorem.

Tak płyta wygląda w całej okazałości. Szkoda, że nie zachowało się całe łoże - miałbym nowe miejsce do spania  :rotfl:

I try to look up Marquardt in old addressbook. Is this  4b or 46? No entry in 1943  book.

Sven, I already checked in old adressbook. Bed looks like the beginning of the twentieth century, so also adress.
It's Schützenstr.46.

I know that there lived Marquardt. I have seen this name many times in churchbooks.

In State Archive Stettin, first book 1600-1800, 1800-1835 and some more, which I never looked in.

Some Pages are copied into FamilySearch Database of book 1800-1835 and later book until 1843.

There should be civil registers of 1930-1939 located in Pölitz civil office, but when I was there nobody could help me.

The question we should ask is why there's an inscription on the bed?
Is it normal situation to mark beds with own name?
In my opinion there was no need to write something on front of the bed in the beginning of 20th century. But in 1945 and 46 people marked a lot of things to find them easily after the moving to new place. So maybe we should look later than Domino suggested. I know there's no matching findings to Dora Marquardt in Poelitz. But It was popular name with some Marquardts in the town. For example one of the most important Hydrierwerke's engineers names Marquardt. But what happened with his family and the others after the war? Maybe they lived later in enclave and had to change their places of living because of incoming Poles?

This wooden piece of furniture could belong to a delivery. Thats why it was labeled.

I couldnt see that this thing belongs to a bed...
